half full Postitive attitudeSafeguarding your attitude is critical in sales, sales really is more about emotion than logic and having a good attitude will make the difference between hitting your goal or not.  Having a good attitude is not about jumping up and down like a lune but more to do with your genuine outlook in life.  Sometimes you will wake up feeling better than other days, however in sales in critical to try and keep a positive outlook on life and what you are doing.

The old lines are still the best:

  • is the cup half full or half empty... Who cares drink it anyway, it's probably free.
  • the grass is always greener... Yeah but it's just as hard to mow
Having long term, mid term and short term goals really does help protect your attitude, when times are hard it's better to have smaller goals which you can easily achieve.   This will help you keep a positive attitude and remember to reward yourself when you do achieve goals.
