Leading from the front
Leading from the front is critical in any business but even more so in direct sales and marketing. I have never understood how anybody running a business can not get good and understanding the sales process and whats involved. If I want to be a good golfer I would get my advice and training from from a golfing pro, not a footballer. Same for business if I want to create the best possible sales then I want to get the best I possibly can.
So how do you know what the best is, who is going to set the standard? The only way is to get good at the sales yourself and lead from the front. It eliminates excuses and also shows how important standards are.
